Scott Baillie BFP FCA

Founder & Managing Director

Scott Baillie is the Founder and Managing Director of Professional Trust Group. A Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Scott was granted Fellowship of the ICAEW in 2019, recognising his experience and commitment to the profession. Before founding the firm in 2011, Scott gained extensive commercial and board-level experience across successful UK and international businesses in sectors including hotels, property, industrial and retail — leading acquisitions, restructurings and strategic transformations along the way.

Today, Scott brings that experience to individuals, families and growing businesses across Kent and beyond. Known for his forensic eye for detail and sound commercial judgement, he advises on everything from personal tax planning to complex business, tax and strategic matters. He is also regularly called upon to provide expert financial analysis and support in legal proceedings and mediation, working alongside legal teams where financial clarity is critical.

As an active business owner himself, Scott combines technical excellence with real-world experience, providing practical, decisive advice that helps clients protect, grow and realise the value of what they've built.
